An apprentice butcher from Wrexham has mashed rivals with his bangers to become the young sausage making champion of North Wales.

Robert Jones, 24, who works for Jones Brothers Farm Shop on Mold Road, Wrexham, won the coveted award for his pork and tomato sausage on his debut in the under 25 competition at Venue Cymru, Llandudno.
